Commercial Property Market Forecasting â⬠MyAssignmenthelp.com
Question: Discuss about the Commercial Property Market Forecasting. Answer: Introduction E-Commerce is one of the most emerging trends that is currently taking over the business world. The following business type is slowly expanding itself to the length and breadth of the globe and large retail chains are slowly being reduced to just 10% of the market share in the whole world. The following study has tried to figure out the perceptions of the people of Australia on the entry of the e-commerce companies in their homeland. The study begins with an introductory part followed by a brief overview of the problem statements related to the following research. The aims and objectives of the research have also been discussed by the researcher. The research ends with a brief but compact methodology section that has described the methods used in the following research. The Asia-Pacific Region has experienced an online boom in the last decade particularly in e-commerce. Study shows that the largest online industry is confined to this particular part of the world and a high level of growth in the Australian e-commerce market has a great contribution to such factor. According to a survey conducted by an online news agency, the online market in the island continent will increase to a whooping AU$32 billion from AU$26 billion in the coming years. The Australian people generally buys electronics, fashion accessories, alcohol, Foods and other beverages online (Kelsey, 2017). There are many retail stores in the market that have transferred their business to online and have been successful to sustain themselves in the market. The e-commerce industry made a late entry into the country and since then the country has seen a rise in both the number of industries as well as seen many retail businesses change to online business. Brief statement of the problem E-Commerce is the latest trend of marketing which reduces time, money and labor in obtaining products and services. The emergence of the online marketing has been a revolution for the industry as it has made the functioning of the marketing and promotion of the products in the country much smoother in nature. However the main problem with the spread of e-commerce is the lack of intent for e-commerce among the Australian consumers. It is quite strange to hear such a fact but the reality is that Australian consumers have a stark liking for the traditional sources of business models and are indifferent to the innovative business perspectives that the online model provides them (Ledbury, 2015). The research has come up with a number of different ideas which may be the cause of such a choice. First and foremost companies such as Woolworths have a great reputation in the Australian market. The company is the largest retail store in Australia and sells almost everything that is needed by the people (Turban et al. 2017). The company has also established stores across the length and breadth of the country which makes accessible to most of the population of the country. This has turned out to be on the main reasons for the less interest among the Australians towards the e-commerce sector. Another main reason for the establishment of the industry is the poor services it provides. There have been many cases in the past where the E-Commerce Companies have failed to deliver the right products or have failed to deliver products on time. This has turned out to be one of the negative factors against the Companies. Therefore it is important for the e-commerce companies to formulate a rob ust and dynamic marketing policy for gaining success in the future (Gordon, 2014). Research Aims and Objectives The aim of the following project is to contribute to the knowledge on why the Australian customers are not fond of e-commerce and what is their current perception on the new business trend. The aim of the project itself defines the idea of what the research aims to address. The research also has a number of different objectives. They are as follows; Explore the e-commerce industry in Australia Explore the growth of the e-commerce industry in Australia Explore the reasons on why the people of Australia does not prefer to buy online products Identification of the strategies used by the e-commerce industries in Australia Identify and explore the main strategies that can be taken to increase the online sales in the country The following study has aimed to determine the exact reasons behind the negative growth of the Australian E-Commerce industry. The report will be using both primary as well as secondary data for collecting the data and reaching to the conclusion of the report. The main needs of considering both forms of data are that it helps to analyze the past information and compare them with the present one. Qualitative Approach- In this particular approach questionnaire and forms will be provided to the participants of the sample survey and then the information collected will be analyzed in a proper basis. Quantitative Approach- The collected data will be transformed into graphical forms using pie charts, graphs which will help to determine the current percentage of people in favor of E-Commerce in the country and the people who are against them. Both the data sources can also be compared by using different comparison charts and diagrams. References Ahsan, K., Rahman, S. (2016). About Joseph Eichler and West Coast Modernism
About Joseph Eichler and West Coast Modernism Real estate developer Joseph L. Eichler was not an architect, but he revolutionized residential architecture. In the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, many suburban tract homes in the United States were modeled after Eichler Houses built by Joseph Eichlers firm. You dont have to be an architecture to have an impact on architecture! Background: Born: June 25, 1901 to European Jewish parents in New York City Died: July 25, 1974 Education: Business degree from New York University Early Career: As a young man, Joseph Eichler worked for a San Francisco-based poultry business owned by his wifes family. Eichler became treasurer for the company and moved to California in 1940. Influences: For three years, Eichler and his family rented Frank Lloyd Wrights 1941 Usonian style Bazett House in Hillsborough, California. The family business was facing a scandal, so Eichler launched a new career in real estate. At first Eichler constructed conventional homes. Then Eichler hired several architects to apply Frank Lloyd Wrights ideas to suburban tract homes for middle class families. A business partner, Jim San Jule, helped craft shrewd publicity. An expert photographer, Ernie Braun, created the images that promoted Eichler Homes as carefree and sophisticated. About Eichler Homes: Between the 1949 and 1974, Joseph Eichlers company, Eichler Homes, constructed about 11,000 houses in California and three houses in New York state. Most of the West Coast homes were in the San Francisco area, but three tracts, including Balboa Highlands, were developed near Los Angeles and remain popular to this day. Eichler was not an architect, but he sought out some of the best designers of the day. For example, the celebrated A. Quincy Jones was one of Eichlers architects. Today, Eichler neighborhoods like the one at Granada Hills in San Fernando Valley have been designated historic districts. The Significance of Eichler: Eichlers company developed what became known as the California modern style, but he also was instrumental in the growing Civil Rights movement. Eichler became known for advocating fair housing during an era when builders and realtors often refused to sell homes to minorities. In 1958, Eichler resigned from the National Association of Home Builders to protest the organizations policies of racial discrimination. In the end, Joseph Eichlers social and artistic ideals cut into business profits. The value of Eichler Homes declined. Eichler sold his company in 1967, but continued to build houses until he died in 1974. Long-Term Impact of the Slave Trade on the Atlantic World Essay
Long-Term Impact of the Slave Trade on the Atlantic World - Essay Example It is known as the triangular slave trade as it involved three continents, Africa, America, and Europe. There were two significant parts of this slave trade. The first was the voyage of Europeans from England to Africa with their own goods such as rum for trade with manufactured goods. In West Africa, there existed a form of barter trade where these goods were exchanged with slaves. Consequently, these slaves were gathered together in ships and transported to the new world in West Indies where they were forced to work in sugar plantations. However, most of them died on the way due to diseases, mistreatment, and harsh conditions. After slaves were sold in the region, the profit from the transaction was used to buy sugar, molasses, and other commodities and these were shipped back to England. In this trade Ships were used to carry slaves, rum, sugar, molasses, tobacco, and other type of crops, which maintained this trade (Rawley & Behrendt,2005, p.189-190). This paper seeks to discuss the long-term impact of slave trade on the Atlantic world. The Atlantic slave trade had its impact on the Atlantic region. These regions were Africa, Europe, and America (new world). These long-term effects were either positive or negative. The impact of Atlantic slave trade had detrimental effect on Africaââ¬â¢s demographics. ... This caused a decline in population of West African states for a long time such as upper guinea. Population growth stagnated in the first in the second decades of the 19th century. Additionally, social unrest started due to intertribal warfare and capturing of slaves for the new market from the Europeans. This fuelled major disasters such as famine and drought as people shifted their efforts from economic activities to fights and slave trade. This was complicated further as there were fewer people to produce for the society and this led to further decline of the population. Moreover, the continued mix of different people at this time led to spread of diseases and further decline of population especially in the state of Angola (Thornton, 1998, p. 326-329). Additionally, Atlantic trade had an impact on African economy. There was a profound social and political change, which had a significant role in underdevelopment of Africa economy as well as ethnic fictionalization and disruption of effective states. It is worth noting that most of the slaves were taken from weaker states. The trade led to taking away of skilled and strong labor force that could have played a role in the progress of African region. Consequently, the only population that remained in most of these regions was old and could not do anything meaningful in economic development leading to stagnation and regression of the African states. Many communities relocated to other regions far away from the trade routes, which led to decline in their technological and economic development and most of the energy was dedicated to their security. In addition, relations between kingdoms, ethnic groups, and religious functions were changed. Actually, the present religious, ethnic,
